What does Amgtrades crypto Interest account mean?

Interest account on Amgtrades allows users who own and hold supported cryptoassets to earn extra crypto simply by holding them. The Interest account process is carried out by Amgtrades on behalf of its users. Rewards are paid out in the same cryptoasset that was staked, similar to how interest is paid out. This means that if you stake BTC, you'll get BTC as a prize.
What currency is my APY paid in?

Interest is earned and paid out in-kind (in the same cryptocurrency that you have placed in Amgtrades).
What interest rate am I earning?

All Amgtrades accounts are automatically assigned the highest possible rate. The current interest rate is shown on our website, and once you have logged into the platform.
How is my Bitcoin interest calculated?

Every day, we take a snapshot of your balance and calculate how much interest you have earned for that day.
How is interest paid?

Interest earned is deposited directly into your Amgtrades account.
When will my interest account start earning interest?

Interest is earned immediately after you stake your desired cryptocurrency.
How do you determine market interest rates?

Interest rates are evaluated based on market demand and our earnings from the previous month. While Amgtrades strives to maintain a consistent interest rate, it is subject to change.
Will interest rates change and how often?

Our interest rates will be adjusted on a monthly basis to reflect current market conditions.

How do I deposit on Amgtrades?

First, You Need to have a Wallet. Below is a guide to installing Coinbase/Luno if you don’t have one.
Step 1. Download coinbase/luno from your App store.

Step 2. Register and fund your coinbase wallet. Click here for a guide on how to fund your coinbase wallet.

Step 3. Visit amgtrades.uk/register to create an account.

Step 4. Go to the Menu bar on the top left corner of your Amgtrades account, select Deposit/withdraw.

Step 5. Select the service you wish to fund, fill in the desired amount and the crypto(BTC, ETH, USDT) address you are sending from. Click on deposit.

Step 6. A crypto address and barcode will be shown, send the inputed amount to the wallet address.

Your payments will be automatically confirmed once received.
What currency can I deposit in my amgtrades account?

We only support 3 cryptocurrencies. BTC, ETH and USDT. You can deposit any of these depending on the service you choose.
What is the minimum first time deposit?

The minimum first time deposit is $1,000 for Interest account account and $10,000 for Atmix account. Subsequent deposits can be any amount depending on how committed you are towards building your portfolio.
Is depositing safe and secure?

How do I withdraw from my Amgtrades account?

In order to place a withdrawal request, please follow these steps:
Step 1. Visit Amgtrades.uk/login to login to your account.

Step 2. Go to the Menu bar on the top left corner of your Amgtrades account, select Deposit/withdraw.

Step 3. Select the service you wish to withdraw from, fill in the desired amount and the crypto(BTC, ETH, USDT) address you are sending your crypto to. Click on withdraw. Withdrawals are only available after lock in periods.
How long will it take to receive my funds?

After lock in periods, Withdrawal requests can take up to 24hrs to get confirmed on the blockchain once processed by Amgtrades.
How will I know whether my request for a withdrawal has been processed?

Once we have processed your withdrawal request, we will send you an email. You can also examine the current status of your withdrawal in the transactions section on your dashboard.

What is Amgtrades fund?

Amgtrades fund is a crypto fund created by institutional investor (Amgtrades) for the purpose of maximizing returns and reducing or eliminating risk, regardless of market climb or decline.
What is the Atmix minimum investment ?

The investment minimum of the Fund is $10,000.
How often can I invest?

The fund offers both weekly and daily subscriptions subject to the investor commitment levels.
What is the liquidity of the fund?

Investors can redeem from the Fund after the lock in period.
Does ATMIX have a lockup period?

Many ATMIX strategies require extended periods to turn profitable. A six months Lockup period gives ATMIX some breathing room to use long-term strategies without being forced into liquidating positions to meet redemption requests.

What measures have you taken to prevent loss of funds?

We have incredibly stringent capital requirements of our counterparties. In any case, we are very selective with whom we lend out to. We only lend to corporate entities with good credit scores, and the Loan-to-Value (LTV) Ratio of our loans is usually 70% or lower. For this reason, the risk of default is very low. Like most DeFi products out there, we lend out to more than one counterparty to reduce counterparty risk.
What happens if one of your borrowers default?

In the very unlikely event that the borrower defaults and fails to return the borrowed asset, we may liquidate the borrower’s collateral and repurchase the borrowed funds. We also have a robust legal contract in place with each of our borrowers, and may take legal action to recover the funds if necessary. Furthermore, in an event a default happens, Amgtrades will be taking on the loss and paying our users from our equity funds.

Where are my cryptocurrencies stored when I deposit my funds with you?

At Amgtrades, we take a security-first approach, and we do not use hot wallets (which are vulnerable to online attacks). Instead, we use Fireblocks' multi-party computation wallet infrastructure where each user will be assigned an address generated by Fireblocks. When cryptocurrencies are deposited with Amgtrades via the unique address given to our users, they are received through the Fireblocks' secure wallet infrastructure. On the backend, Amgtrades will either transfer the cryptocurrencies to our self-custodied cold wallets or lend them to borrowers.
How do you protect our personal information and sensitive data?

Personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive information are encrypted to secure them during transit and at rest. We use strong industry-standard algorithms for password hashing and procedures.
Are our cryptocurrencies safe in transit?

We partnered with Fireblocks to provide our users with next-generation private key security (MPC-CMP) and hardware isolation technology (SGX). These methods result in multi-layer security, which eliminates a single point of failure and insulates digital asset transfers from cyber-attacks, internal collusion, and human error.
What steps have you taken to secure your platform?

The platform runs on a secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, and all traffic is encrypted with SSL encryption. We encrypt and anonymise as much data as possible on our servers. Additionally, we use industry-standard algorithms for password hashing and procedures. Rate-limiting and Captcha security measures are implemented on certain account operations, such as your login attempts.
